against, because they have been wronged; and surely, Allah is Able to give them (believers) victory * Those who have been expelled from their homes unjustly only because they said : “ Our lord is Allah.” (Al-Hajj :39-40 ).

After that, he exhaustively tells us how to deal kindly and justly with the Jews and Christians who not fight us in aggression and not drive us out of our homes as He says :

“Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion nor drove you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity”. (Al-Mumtahanah : 8 ).

He also states :

“But if they incline to peace, you also incline to it, and (put your) trust in Allah. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. ”( Al-Anfal :61 ).

           Then, Allah, glory to Him, specified to us when to fight the unbelievers all together: this means those who directly fight us, drive us out of our homes as well as those who support them and indirectly help them fight us. This holds true of the way the United States of America unlimitedly helps Israel against Muslims, as He says: “And fight against the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah ) Collectively as they fight against you collectively.”( Al-Taubah 36 ).

At last, our Lord taught us not to fight except when we have to as a defensive measure. Besides, the call for Al-Jihad and war is not an innate characteristic of the Islamic nation. We resort to it only when we are obliged to do so as Allah All-mighty says :
