"And I (Allâh)
created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone)
* I seek not any provision from them (i.e
provision for themselves or for My creatures)
nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e.
feed themselves of My creatures)
* Verily, Allâh is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong".
(Adh-Dhâriyât 56-58)
The pillar of this worship is prayers. But what is the
prayer?… And how can it be defined?: …………
In the Arabic language, the word (salat) 'prayer' is derived from
the word of (assila) 'relation',
to wit the relation between man and his Lord… This “sila”
‘relation’ would drives us again to explain the matter of the (communication)…
Let's expatiate upon this point. Take the following example: If we are on
the phone, we will be in continue communicating with the other part as long
as the line is heat .. If the Phone
is dead or there are no heat, then would
break off the communication at all with the other part who was talking to
us… Prayer here is like this heat in the phone line.. So, observing
prayers on time everyday maintains the communication between our Great
Creator and us.
The
absence of prayers is the absence of
the holy blessed communication… With
this holy communication maintained in between us and Allah, Allah answers
the prayers of us. On the other face, how He All-Mighty respond our prayers…
This is the corroboration
of the Divine prophetic tradition
