a whole year, he feels worried and restless. How can a whole year elapse and he has been alright all along?.

           This is for fear that Allah may not be loving them. For the Prophet (pbuh) told them that inflictions are signs for Allah's love. 

         What are we, in compared with those rightly guided people?… If Allah inflicted any of us with any harm, he panics and suffers from depression. Moreover, he never stops complaining from what he is going through and blames those who wronged him. Thus, he forgets that all that happens to him was destined before his birth. And that anything that happens to him is by the Will of Allah, Exalted be He, no matter how diversified are the reasons and tools. This man also forgets Allah's words in His Holy Qu’ran, says:

             [No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but it is inscribed in the Book of Decrees (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz) before We bring it into existence. Verily, that is easy for Allah. * In order that  you may not grieve at the things that you fail to get, nor rejoice over that which has been given to you. And Allah likes not prideful boasters.] (Al-Hadid:22 – 23)

              That is because Allah, Glory be to Him, has written in His Record all that is going to happen till Doomsday 50,000 years before creating the earth and heavens.
