Allah All-Mighty and shunning any misdeeds. Only then, Allah All-Mighty will fulfill His Promise, for Allah is Most Truthful.

 

         To apply the strict conditions of piety in time of distress, we should raise a serious question: is smoking an act of obedience?… Allah All-Mighty stated that it is impermissible. For Allah All-Mighty made good things permissible and bad harmful things impermissible. This is stated clearly in the Holy Qur'an... We should also ask ourselves, "Is playing card an act of obedience?" Playing cards distracts man and makes him miss the prayers on time. It encourages man to stay up late at night and miss the dawn Prayer. It gradually makes man like gambling. Another question is: is watching the semi-naked women and watching obscene songs on TV a good deed?… Allah All-Mighty ordered us to look somewhere else when we see an obscene thing. Allah says: [ And follow not (O man i.e., say not, or do not or witness not ) that of which you have no knowledge. Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those one will be questioned (by Allah)]. (Al-Isra 36). Is calling others names and using obscene words, even when a person is kidding, an act of obedience?.. The Prophet (pbuh) said a Hadith to the effect that: "Of you who utters a word with inattention of it, though it causes him to fall for 70 autumns in Hellfire." Are backbiting and spying us each others of the good manners and deeds and obedience?.

         Let's be honest with Allah All-Mighty and then with ourselves. Let's be frank and say candidly that all the aforementioned deeds are not acts of obedience, Rather, they are misdeeds and sins.
