So, we have to rest
assured if Allah tries us, out of His love for and Mercy on us. We should
never panic or have depression. For the only purpose of such calamities
however diverse they are is to increase our rewards in the Hereafter for our
patience and perseverance at the time of ordeal. Thus, our good-deed credit
increases before Allah, Who controls the Treasuries of earth and heaven.
This credit of good deeds is the most precious wealth that we should
preserve and be keen on increasing it in the Hereafter through patience,
thanking Allah and craving His generous reward.
O our Lord! With Your help, we are firm and steady. Out of Your strength, we
are patient, thanks to you! So, purge us with the ordeals and clean us of
our sins like white clothes are cleansed of black stains. O Lord! Make us
amongst those who persevere at the time of adversity and thank You at the
time of prosperity! Make us of those who seek Your Forgiveness when they err,
and forgive us with Your Mercy, for You are the Most Merciful.
