belonging
the Islam religion was clarified and completed. So, there is nothing missing
in religion to be completed now and there is no excess to be
omitted. That
is most obvious in the Prophet's traditions says: "There are nothing
that can draw you closer to Allah and I ever did order you to do, and there
are nothing that can distance you from Allah and draws you closer to
Hellfire but I did prohibit you not to do".
This means that whoever comes up with a novelty and wants to propagates it
implicitly accuses Islam of imperfection and wants to completes what Allah
and the Prophet left incomplete, Allah forbid.
What all of us have to do is to abide by the Tradition of the Prophet
(pbuh) and his Companions, May Allah be pleased with them follow them step
by step, for their actions are the standard against which we measure the
correctness of our deeds, sayings and beliefs... But if we happen to
encounter a novelty, we should resort to the sound Prophetic Tradition. If
we find out that the Prophet or his Companions approved of it and did it, we
should do it. And if this novelty cannot be traced back to the Prophet or
his Companions, we must leave it at once... Some of us may say that we are
not well-versed as scholars in religion to discriminate between the right
and the wrong. To those we say that they have to resort to the reliable
scholars known for their fear of Allah. Those scholars will lead you to what
is best for you. What we mean is each one Muslim of
us should abide by the Holy Book and the Prophetic Tradition and he
should clean his creed from the blemishs and bad novelties as he clean his body from dirt.
